Frequently Asked Questions
What Should I Bring to Class?
To help with stability and hygiene, please wear grip socks or go barefoot when using the mat and reformers. There are a selection of MoveActive grip socks available to purchase in our store on Evini and these can be collected at your next class.
It is also advised that you bring a bottle of water to class.
All equipment will be provided!
When Should I Arrive?
Our classes are back to back with 10 minutes in between.
Please arrive at least 5 minutes early if It’s your first time.
Otherwise, please leave just enough time to ensure you are ready to begin at the class start time.
Due to insurance, unfortunately we cannot allow late arrivals. If you arrive at your class start time or later, your class credit will be lost.
Do I need Pilates experience to attend a class?
No experience needed. Many of our classes are suitable for complete beginners and our instructors will guide you through the movements, offering options and modifications throughout.
If you’re unsure which class to book first, choose a beginner-friendly session (or contact us and we’ll recommend the best starting point).
Are your classes suitable for beginners?
Yes. We welcome beginners and will help you feel confident on the reformer from your first class.
To get the most from your session:
- Arrive a few minutes early on your first visit
- Let your instructor know it’s your first class
- Work at your own pace — form and control come first
Is Pilates suitable during pregnancy or post-natal?
Pilates can be a great option during pregnancy and post-natal, we have specific mama to be & mama and mini classes but they can book into any regular classes with a pre and post natal certified instructor (details of who is qualified on Evini).
How do I book a class?
All classes are booked through Evini.
Create an account, purchase a class credit or package, then select your session on the timetable and confirm your booking. If you need help getting set up, contact us and we’ll point you in the right direction.
Cancellation Policy
We operate a 12 hour cancellation policy.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your class booking, please do so at least 12 hours before the class start time otherwise the class credit will be lost.
All cancellations and reschedules can be actioned on Evini. This will enable our waitlisted clients to automatically be added to the class.
Waitlist Policy
If a class is full, you can opt to be added to the waitlist.
When on the waitlist, if someone cancels a class booking, you will automatically be added to the class up to an hour before the class begins.
If the cancellation is within 1 hour of the class start time, an email an/or push notification will be sent to all waitlisted clients and the fastest responder will be allocated the space.
Please ensure you have email/push notifications turned on to ensure you can be contacted accordingly.
